VA loans are home loans insured by the Department of Veterans Affairs. VA loans are are available to eligible veterans.

VA Loan Programs

VA loans are available in a few different combinations. Below is a bullet point listing of available VA loans:

• 100% VA Loans - these VA loans have a maximum VA loan amount of $240,000
• Adjustable Rate VA Loans - this VA loan is available up to $240,000
• VA Streamline Refinance Loans - this is a no qualifying VA refinance loan
• 3/1 VA Loans - this VA loan program is fixed for the first three years then becomes an adjustable rate mortgage loan.
• VA Jumbo Loans - VA jumbo loans will go up to $300,000 loan amount with a small down payment requirement.

VA loans can assist almost every veterans home loan need because of the various loan programs offered. Primary VA loans are used for buying a home but you may do a  VA mortgage refinance. The most common VA loans are the 30 year fixed VA loans or the VA adjustable rate mortgage.
